a design group makes use of web coding & an impressive collection of decade old GIFs + logos to generate an internet art aesthetic palate, essentially making the net artists club of all those usual names obsolete. while we love windows 95 logo gifs etc that remind us of our youth in an annoying peter kay kind of way, we don’t love the confusingly pompous hyper-intellectual mindset that tends to infect it. so if some smart design nerds can use exciting algorithms and stuff to auto-produce then internet art can effectively reach the zenith of it’s ambitions and play itself without any human requirement. most of the stock market works like that anyway and that actually affects reality in a way more pressing than phillips de pury trying to sell you something off tumblr.
